Maryke graduated with a degree in physiotherapy, and also holds an MSc in Sports Injury Management. She is currently based at one of the UK’s leading centres for sports medicine, and works with professional and high performance athletes. She was a member of the medical team at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, the 2015 European Games in Baku, and she has provided pitch-side support for teams in East Sussex, including Brighton and Hove Albion FC’s Academy, earning her a Silver Accreditation with the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine. In addition to her specialism in sports injuries, Maryke is highly trained to help individuals with non-sports related injuries as well.
Maryke is a marathon runner and a triathelete, and is familiar with the everyday challenges that people face when trying to recover from an injury. She is passionate about applying evidence-based medicine to help members achieve the best rehabilitation possible.
